In this post, we are going to list the best Utah pumpkin patches in Salt Lake City, Northern Utah, and Southern Utah.

Utah Pumpkin Patches

There are so many fun pumpkin patches in Utah to explore.  Utah in October is amazing! The weather can be so nice.  It is the perfect time to get out and enjoy a pumpkin patch and the fun activities at each one. 

We will start with the pumpkin patch Salt Lake City locations and those surrounding areas just north of Salt Lake City and within the cities of Salt Lake County.  

1. Kuwahara's Pumpkin Patch

12153 S 700 W, Draper, UT 84020 (Salt Lake County)

Opens: Pre-Opening Weekend September 16th, 17th, and 18th 

Season Opening: September 23rd – October 30th

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Friday 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Saturday 11:30 am – 10:00 pm

Sunday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm

Pumpkin Patch Admission:

$5 (On weekdays admission goes towards pumpkin purchase)

Kuwahara is a legit Utah pumpkin patch where you walk out and pick the pumpkin from the patch.  We have been going to this patch since it first opened.  

There are pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes.  Pumpkins are sold by weight.  The entry fee is $5 per person but will go towards your final purchase price on Monday -Thursday. Friday and Saturday admission price does not go toward pumpkin purchase.  

Thriller Park

Hours: 5:00 pm to close

Weekdays: $18.95

Weekends: $24.95

Kuwahara has evolved over time and now offers more than just picking out a pumpkin.   There is a thriller experience that includes:

2. Mabey's Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch Admission: Free

We went to Maybey’s last year and loved the simplicity of it.  This is 16+ acres of pumpkins.  You can grab a wheel barrel and pick out a pumpkin. It is in a great location, not too far off the highway. 

There are cute photo ops available, so you will want to have a camera ready! It is a great Salt Lake City pumpkin patch location. ( In Salt Lake County) 

Magbey’s is strictly a pumpkin patch.  There are no activities at this location. 

3. Cross E Ranch - Fall Festival

4. Wheeler Farm - Pumpkin Days

Wheeler Farm hosts Pumpkin Days in celebration of fall. There are lots of fun activities to enjoy.  You can also purchase pumpkins starting at $3 and up to $20 for bigger pumpkins.

5. Peterson Family Farm Pumpkin Patch

Peterson Family Farm is a U-pick pumpkin patch.  There are hundreds of pumpkins ready to be picked and purchased.

These activities do have fees associated with them.  Each activity is a few dollars.  Peterson Farms is a Utah pumpkin patch that is perfect for a low-cost family fall adventure.  

6. Black Island Farms

7. Pack Farms

Pack Farms is a legit Utah pumpkin patch.  It is so fun and cute.  There are lots of fall games for the kids to play on top of picking a pumpkin.

The games at Pack Farm are the perfect farm games.  This is a family-friendly location that is perfect for Fall.  This is one of the best Utah pumpkin patches because of its simplicity! 

8. Day Farms

Admission:

Around $6 for 1 pumpkin and 1 hay ride. (Prices may go up for 2022)

Day Farms is a year-round farm that benefits the local community.  It is a fun place to pick a pumpkin in Utah.

9. Green Acres Dairy

Opens: September 16th – October 29th

Admission:

$6 – $18

Hours:

Monday – Thursdays 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Green Acres Dairy is a fun pumpkin patch in Ogden.  This farm is well established and has been around for a long time.  There are fun activities to do on top of picking a pumpkin!

There are a few pumpkin patches Logan Utah locations and the surrounding area in Cache Valley.  There are some fun pumpkin patches and Fall activities in this part of the state. 

10. Willow Creek Pumpkins

Opens: Seasonally

Admission: Free

This is one of the best Utah pumpkin patches. It’s not a field where you pick the pumpkins yourself, but it has a fantastic selection of local produce.
 
Idaho potatoes in 50lb bags straight from the fields. Huge variety of pumpkins, gourds, squash, and corn. Decorative corn stalks and small hay bales. 
 
This place has the best prices anywhere in Cache Valley. In August & early September, you can buy peaches & tomatoes by the half bushel, melons, peppers, corn, and u-pick green beans. 

11. Little Bear Bottoms

Opens: Late September through October

Admission:

Prices vary for each activity.  The pumpkins start at $2 and go up to $15 for larger ones.  The attractions range from $3- $16 dollars depending on the activity. 

Little Bear Bottoms does have a u – pick pumpkin patch.  There are also lots of fun activities to do while you visit.

12. Ferry's Pumpkin Patch

Ferry’s Pumpkin Patch is a fun place to grab a pumpkin and have a little fun with kids.  There are some great activities!

Personally, I think some of the best pumpkin patches in Utah are located in Utah County.  There are so amazing options to choose from.

Let’s look at all the Utah pumpkin patches in Utah County! This county is located just south of Salt Lake County. 

13. Harwood Farms - Jakers

Harwood Farms is a great thing to do in Utah in Fall.  The Jaker’s pumpkin event has an enormous pumpkin patch. There are also many activities.

14. Thanksgiving Point - Cornbellys

Cornbelly’s

Thanksgiving Point is one of the best things to include in your “Fall in Utah” list.  They offer so much more activities than any location in Utah. In my opinion, Thanksgiving Point is the absolute best Utah October activity. They have over 50 attractions.

We go to Cornbelly’s every year.  It is so fun you will want to spend your entire day there. 

The Spanish Fork location is a second location but does not have as many activities as Lehi. 

15. Hee Haw Farms

16. Rowley's Red Barn

You can enjoy a wagon ride to the “Back Forty” where there is a six-acre pumpkin patch.  There are also many activities to enjoy

17. Wilkerson Farm

Wilkerson Farm is a pumpkin patch in Orem, however, it is not a U-pick pumpkin patch. You can grab pumpkins and also enjoy all of the fun rides at the farm.

18. Gordo's Fun Farm

Gordo’s Family Farm is a newer pumpkin patch to check out.  They are located near Spanish Fork.  The pumpkin prices range from $1 – $20 depending on the size.   There are lots of cute photo ops!

19. Glen Ray's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Glen Rays corn maze and pumpkin patch was formed to honor Grandpa Glen.  You will see lots of little grandpa images as you check out the farm.  There is a traditional U-pick pumpkin patch.

I am located in Northern Utah, so I am more familiar with things in that part of the state.   I know of 1 pumpkin patch in southern Utah but I’m sure there are more.

20. Staheli Pumpkin Patch

Staheli is the place to go in Southern Utah!  The pumpkin patch is legit and on top of that, there are so many fun things to do.  It is one of the best pumpkin patches in Utah!
