Where is Shreks Adventure London?

Shreks London Adventure is located right next to the London Eye. The London Dungeon and Sealife Aquarium are also located nearby.

These attractions are conveniently located in a central London tourist spot. It is so nice they are right next to each other. You can easily do all four in one day.

How Do I Get Tickets for the London Shrek Adventure

You can typically save a lot of money by booking your tickets ahead of time. Merlin Corporation offers a lot of discounts.

If you are interested in going be sure to reach out to me directly in my Facebook Group as this company often emails me special promotions and discount codes.

Sometimes if you bundle a few activities it will be less money.

You can also purchase tickets the day of, however, you might not be able to get into the attraction right away. You have to make a reservation for each time slot available. If it is full you may have to wait and come back at a later time.

What is the Shrek London Adventure?

My family had no idea what to expect when we went to the London Shrek Adventure. I wasn’t sure if it was a movie or an interactive experience.

I learned it was a little bit of both. As you enter you will go into a series of rooms. Each room has an actor or actress that interacts with the audience.

In some rooms, there are virtual reality movies, and in other rooms, the rooms themselves are moving and talking to you.

You can not take any photos once you enter the London Shrek Experience. This makes it a little hard to blog about each area. With that said, it really is an amazing experience so I wouldn’t want to spoil any of the magic.

Shrek Adventure London Storyline

The storyline for the London Shrek experience begins with you accidentally killing one of Rumplestiltskin’s favorite witches.

He is mad and is out to get you. Along the way, you will have to gather ingredients for a magic potion that will get Rumplestiltskin off your back.

Hot Tip for the London Shrek Adventure

If you are celebrating a special day be sure to tell the workers. They will make sure your experience is even extra special.

How Long is the Shrek London Adventure?

The London Shrek Adventure is 45 to 60 minutes. You will get your money’s worth for sure!

I was actually really surprised that the Shrek London Adventure was as long as it was. It was very well thought out. My kids enjoyed every moment. The time went fast! I felt that the London Shrek Adventure was quality and the perfect amount of time.

What is the Best Age for the Shrek London Adventure?

My little guy loved it. He just turned 9. It is the perfect activity to do for kids in London. I would say if you have kids under the age of 12 particularly boys, they will love it.

I also have tweens and teens and they enjoyed it but said it was designed for younger kids.

Will the Shrek Adventure London Entertain you?

We did this as part of our “Operation Stay Awake” after our long flight from the USA. Honestly, I think it was the perfect activity to keep everyone awake. There are lots of sensory overload areas which makes it very difficult to fall asleep!

As an adult, I enjoyed watching my boy get excited and enjoyed watching him interact in each room.

How Would I Rate the London Shrek Adventure?

I would give it a 10! I thought everything was up-to-date. The experience was fantastic for younger kids.

There are so many rooms within the experience that entertain the whole family. I really enjoyed the experience and would do it again!

Honestly, it kept my family entertained and engaged and I would highly recommend it for kids!

Audience participation is important throughout the entire London Shrek Adventure experience. My husband was put on the spot and had to do some pretty funny stuff!

Will Teens like the London Shrek Adventure?

My teens were good sports but didn’t feel it appealed to them as much as their younger brother. My 11-year-old girl said, “that it might be designed for boys because the humor is a little crude (bathroom talk)” but that is what Shrek and some of the other Dream Works shows like Puss and Boots are known for.

I was glad we were able to go on the London Shrek Adventure and felt it was a positive experience for everyone in my family.

Dream Works London Tour

After you finish the Shrek Adventure London Tour you get to have some fun with the other Dream Works characters.

There is an area where you can explore Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda. There are little hands-on activities by each area the kids will love.

Shrek Adventure London Gift Shop

As you exit you will be able to shop for some pretty cool Shrek souvenirs. One of the best ones was the Shrek ears. A few kids had them and they are so cute. They are similar to Mickey Ears.
