We just went on the Disney Wish and had an amazing time. As a huge foodie, eating was one of the highlights of my Disney cruise!
I am so excited to share with you how Disney roational dining works and what to expect at the different restaurants on the Disney Wish.
In this post, we are going to focus on the Disney Wish restaurants that are included in your cruise fare. We will also explain what the Disney Wish rotational dining is all about. Plus, we will give you all the details about the Disney Wish buffet and counter services Disney Wish restaurants.

Disney Wish Rotational Dining
Disney rotation dining is unique to Disney cruise lines. Each night you will go to a different main dining area. Each is themed and offers different entertainment options.

Main Disney Wish Dining Times
There are two dining times: 5:45 pm and 8:00 pm. You get to pick which dining time you would like when you book your Disney cruise.
The earlier dining time usually fills up very fast. We had the later time and it was perfect for us because the time change made the later dining time equivalent to our normal dinner time.

To know which venue you are supposed to go to it will be located on your Disney Wish App. Each night will list a different location.
Disney Wish Dining Rotation 3 Night Cruise
If you are going on a quick 3-night Disney cruise. you will be able to try all three restaurants. Each night you will have the same servers, they will follow you to each location.
Disney Wish Dining Rotation 4 Night Cruise
If you have booked the Disney Wish 4-night cruise you will get to experience all of the restaurants and then on your last night, you will be assigned to go to one of the three restaurants again. You can choose to go or you can explore other dining options onboard.
1. 1923 Restaurant
1923 was our first assigned Disney Wish dining rotational restaurant. It is named 1923 because the Walt Disney Company was founded in this year, it celebrates the golden age of animation. The company was founded in Southern California.
What Deck is 1923 on the Disney Wish Located?
Deck 3 is where you will go to enjoy your dinner at 1923.
Do People Dress Up for 1923 Restaurant?
This is the fanciest of dining areas on the Disney Wish. You could certainly dress up if you would like. Casual dress is totally acceptable as well.
We loved Walt Disney 1923 restaurant. This was a very traditional cruise main dining experience. It was fancy and elegant. It is similar to what you will experience on other cruise lines.
Disney Wish Dining Menu – 1923 Restaurant
The food was so good! The menu offers the best from California. Everyone ordered different items and loved what they ordered. The desserts were delicious and the specialty drinks were very good.
I would say our service was great and the food was amazing. It really was a highlight of our cruise.
Is There Entertainment at 1923 Restaurant?
No, there are no character meet-and-greets or live bands. It was just a really nice fancy atmosphere.

2. Worlds of Marvel
Worlds of Marvel was my favorite Disney Wish rotational dining option! I loved everything about it. The food was good, the entertainment was awesome, and we even got to meet Spiderman.
What Deck is Worlds of Marvel Disney Wish Restaurant?
Worlds of Marvel is located on Deck 4.
Do People Dress Up for the Disney Wish Worlds of Marvel Show and Dinner?
I think more people would dress up if they knew what to expect. It was our first Disney Cruise so we had no idea what was coming.
Worlds of Marvel is awesome if you have little boys or girls who love superheroes they can dress up for dinner.
Disney Wish Dining Menu – Worlds of Marvel
We thought the food was excellent. We had a really good experience with both the main course and desserts. It was really good. The menu has items from Europe, Africa, and even New York.
We also really liked the specialty drinks available for purchase. It was pretty cool, it looked like a Pyms shrinking machine with a delicious smoothie inside. This was a great souvenir to take home.
Is There Entertainment at the Worlds of Marvel?
Yes. In the Worlds of Marvel, there are TV screens located all around you. Disney loves to tell stories and this is how you will interact with the Marvel multiverse.
As you eat the TV screens will come on informing you of different events happening at Pyms. There are large interactive contraptions called “The Quantum Core” located in the center of the table.
You will be instructed to press the buttons to either grow or shrink objects to help the Avengers. There are villains and superhero-type work you will be invited to participate in.
Spiderman makes a character appearance towards the end of the night. He visits each table.
Our Experience
We love this location the best because not only was the food amazing but it catered to boys. Our youngest is a boy so this was right up his alley.
Our older kids have seen almost all of the Marvel movies so they enjoyed it as well. Having Spiderman come to our table was a surprise and pretty cool as well.
Overall this was probably our favorite night of the Disney Wish restaurants in the rotational dining.
3. Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adveture
Arendell is one of the 3 Disney Wish Restaurants you will be assigned to.
Before my Disney Cruise, I wondered if Arendelle was included in the Disney Wish rotational dining lineup. I thought for sure it was a specialty restaurant. It is not! It is included in your cruise fare.
I have been to many character dining restaurants at Disney World and this show and character meet and greet is beyond anything I had ever experienced.
What Deck is Arendelle Disney Wish Restaurant Located On?
You will find Arendelle Castle on Deck 5.
As you enter Arendelle take a look at all of the images on the wall, they are the exact ones in the movie. It is very detailed and so fun!
Disney Wish Dining Menu – Arendelle
Of all of the restaurants the food at Arendelle was my least favorite. They did a fantastic job on making a menu that is on target with what you would find in Arendelle and other Nordic countries. This type of food is very unusual and not great if you are a picky eater.
If you are not used to this food it may be hard to stomach. My teenager opted to eat off the kid’s menu that night. The rest of us wish we had too!
Is There Entertainment at Arendelle?
Yes. As you enter, you will be seated around a main stage. The entertainment is pretty fun. There is a live band that performs the entire time you eat. All of the characters from Frozen are also brought to the stage and perform many songs.
The main characters Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff come by each table to say hi.
The show lasted almost 2 hours. It is quite a production.
Our Experience
Arendelle was the last restaurant we were assigned to. Overall I thought it was a fantastic environment with great entertainment.
Our service was really slow, it felt like we were there for hours (Maybe they were trying to replicate how dinner is served in the Nordic countries, Slow.)
The food was not my favorite and overall it was my least favorite venue of the Disney Wish rotational dining plan. However, if I had little girls this would have probably been my favorite. My boys endured it well.
Other Disney Wish Dining Options
Most of the Disney Wish dining options are not open during dinner. These counter service and Disney Wish buffet options are mainly available only during breakfast and lunch.
We are going to only list the Disney Wish restaurants that are included in your cruise fare. But be aware there are a few specialty restaurants that are open during dinner time.
4. Quick Service Disney Wish Restaurants
There are several quick-service restaurants on the Disney Wish. This is a great area to grab a delicious meal.
Where is the Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods on Disney Wish Located?
These counter or quick-service Disney Wish restaurants are located on Deck 11.
What Time is Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods on Disney Wish Open?
Festival of Friends opens at 11:00 am. It closes at 6:00 pm. These are fantastic locations to enjoy for lunch or a before-dinner snack.

- Mickey’s Smoke House Barbeque
- Donalds Cantina
- Daisy’s Pizza Pies
- Goofy’s Grill
- Sweet Minnies Ice Cream
Mickeys Smoke House
Mickey Smoke House has some good Barbeque. If you like ribs or pulled pork head there. Don’t get me wrong this location was good, but probably my least favorite of all of the Festival of Food locations.
Donalds Cantina
Donald’s Cantina was really really good! I love Mexican food and it was delicious!
Daisy’s Pizza Pies
Pizza is every kid’s favorite. There are specialty pizzas and plain pepperoni and cheese. This is a great place for a fast snack.
Goofy’s Grill
Goofy’s Grill had some of the best hamburgers I have ever had. They were so good! You can also get chicken nuggets and hot dogs.
Is There Free Ice Cream on the Disney Wish?
Yes, Sweet Minnies Ice Cream is where you will find the all-you-can-eat ice cream machines.
They have the traditional chocolate and vanilla but on different days of the cruise, they will introduce new flavors.
5. Marceline Market
Are you looking for an all-you-can-eat buffet? Marceline Market is where you will want to head.
Honestly, there are so many amazing places to eat on the cruise we didn’t get to go to the buffet as many times as we would have liked. We were able to go for breakfast a few times and lunch a few times.
The variety was unbelievable. There were so many great options. We tried as much as we could without getting sick! It is all about pacing yourself.
The desserts are so fun, its the details that are so cool. They also taste amazing.
Our Experience
I was really impressed with the food quality and how good the buffet was. We loved the variety and the only thing we wished was different was the hours.
The buffet is not open all the time. We would have gone during off hours and eaten a few snacks but they are only open for breakfast and lunch.
6. Room Service
On most cruise ships room service is extra, on Disney Cruise it is included in your cruise fare. My 8 year old was so excited about room service.
Our Experience
He pre-ordered his breakfast for room service. It was awesome for him. He ordered donuts, fruit, and chocolate milk. It was really good food.
We wished we could have had room service on the last day of our cruise, so we could eat quickly and get off the ship to catch our flight. It is not available on debarkation day. (The buffet is open on the last day.)
Eating on the Disney Wish
All of these Disney Wish restaurants are so amazing. Disney Cruise Lines has some of the best food in the industry. Let’s do a recap with a little question-and-answer section.
How Many Restaurants are on the Disney Wish?
There are three main Disney Wish rotational restaurants, 1 buffet restaurant, and 5 quick service restaurants. There are also two specialty Adult-only restaurants but those cost extra.
Is the Food on the Disney Wish Good?
Yes. We loved the food. One thing we love about cruises is that if you don’t like something you can always find something else you do like.
Does Disney Wish Have a Buffet?
Yes. Marceline Market is open for breakfast and lunch.
Is Soda Pop Included in the Cruise Fare?
Yes. Disney is one of the only cruise lines that includes soda pop in the cruise fare.
One of the best things about eating on the Disney Wish is all of the options and the quality of the food.
