We went on a rainy Tuesday before lunch. We really didn’t want to walk to the ferry port in the rain, so we took a chance and drove.
We were lucky and found a spot easily. It does cost to park, but it isn’t too much.
I can imagine on a nice day it would be almost impossible to find a spot, as there are not too many on the island.

1. Granville Island Adventure Zone at the Kids Market

The Kids Market is the best place to bring the kids on Granville Island.
Granville Island Adventure Zone is an indoor playground that is two stories high. This is a great place to bring the kids while visiting Vancouver!
There are bumper cars, virtual reality games, arcade games, playgrounds, and stores with lots of toys!
This would be my first stop on Granville Island if I had young kids!
Granville Island Market

The star of the show at Granville Island Market is the food vendors. There are so many yummy fresh food options!
You can book a VIP food tour of Granville Island. This will give you 20 samples from the various vendors. This is a really good deal as I thought most vendors were overpriced!
Here are my favorites!
2. Lee’s Donuts
We were able to try a few flavors. We got a churro cheesecake donut, honey glazed, and a Dutchz Nutz.
Honestly, these were not my favorite donuts, but I was still excited to try them and have the experience. You will have to try them for yourself and see what you think.
3. Fruit Vendors
This fruit tray was so good! My girls and I loved all the different fruits in the basket. Most of the fruit was sweet and a perfect snack.
It was a little pricey, however, we loved the different flavors and varieties of grapes. Some of the fruit we had never tried before, so it was worth it!
4. Pasta
I am a low-carb eater, so I didn’t indulge in this pasta, but wow, just to look at all the different kinds!
This place gets rave reviews, so you should try it!
5. Meat Market
This meat was so fresh! If I weren’t on vacation, I would have considered getting some and grilling it up!
It was just fun to look at!
6. Bread Vendor
There are at least 5 bakery shops on Granville Island. You can get fresh bread or some sweet treats!
There are lots of options. La Bisa has the highest ratings on Google!
7. Bagels
If you love Bagels, you will need to stop at Siegel’s Bagels. They looked amazing!
Honestly, there are so many delicious places located inside the Granville Island Market, you will not be able to try them all.
I suggest picking a few items out and trying a few.
Some of the vendors will hand out free samples! We were lucky to try a few delicious baked goods as we walked around.
Granville Island Market is totally worth going to!
8. More Shops at Granville Island

After you play at the Granville Adventure Zone and eat at the Granville Island Market, there is one more building to explore.
This building has little shops that are fun to explore. We had heard good things about Paper-YA, so we wanted to check it out. There are some fun journals and cool paper designs.
This was a fun area to check out!

After you tour Granville Island, and you want to see a little more of what Vancouver has to offer, you can book a whale watching tour or a harbor tour.
